Police charge man for locking woman in her own home
The Kenosha Police Department reported that they took Jessie Clanton into custody on charges of false imprisonment, intimidation of a victim, battery, and disorderly conduct, all with a domestic violence enhancer. Charges against Clanton, a 36-year-old Kenosha resident, are in relation to his treatment of a woman, who managed to escape him and report his abuse.
According to police officers, the woman said that on Thursday, July 14, Clanton locked her inside her own house, threatened to hurt her, tied her to her couch, and ordered her to tell him her password to her phone and computer. The woman said she was able to get out of her house on Friday, July 15, and immediately went to the police station at 5500 10th Avenue to report the situation to police authorities.
