No Criminal Charges to be Filed Against Milwaukee Bucks Star
According to a recent article in the Journal Sentinel, Larry Sanders, who plays center for the Milwaukee Bucks, will not face criminal charges for an incident that took place last weekend.
According to a police statement, a 26-year-old man from Sussex claims he was struck with a bottle in an altercation that took place at a Milwaukee nightclub. Sanders was not named directly in the report.
Michael Hart, Sanders’ lawyer, reported that he “met with the Milwaukee County district attorney’s office this morning, and after thorough review they have determined that Mr. Sanders has no criminal culpability and won’t be charged.”
Larry Drew, who has been working with and mentoring Sanders since he took over as coach of the Bucks this summer, says that he hopes Sanders will be able to learn from this incident and that he and everyone else on the team are dedicated to helping Sanders move forward.
