Milwaukee Teen Convicted of Sexual Assault

A Milwaukee teenager was convicted of sexual assault Monday in Racine County Circuit Court.

According to court documents, 17 year-old Christopher Sorenson, of Milwaukee, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 15 years on extended supervision by Judge Allan Torhorst. Sorenson was 16 when he was charged last year of sexually assaulting a two year-old girl. He told the court he wanted to stay out of prison and continue with his education.

The family of the victim offered no sympathy. “My whole family treated you like you were one of us,” she said. Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Tanck-Adams said this was apparently not the first time that Sorenson tried to act out sexual deviancy. Experts testified that Sorenson displays magical thinking and delusional beliefs.
