Two Teens Arrested in Series of Armed Robberies

Beloit police arrested two Milwaukee teenagers Thursday evening in connection with a series of armed robberies.

According to Capt. Vince Sciame of the Beloit Police Department, 18 year-old Cas A. Martin was charged with three counts of armed robbery and 19 year-old Tremaine M. Hill was charged with one count of armed robbery.

The robberies occurred in the last two weeks and all involved the victims responding to a Craigslist advertisement to purchase iPhones.

The Beloit Police Department worked with the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigations and were able to pinpoint the location of the suspects’ cell phone used while making contact with the victims regarding the Craigslist post. Police made contact with the suspects at a residence on Dewey Avenue shortly after 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Martin and Hill are being held at the Rock County Jail.
