PA Woman Arrested for Internet Sex Crime in Milwaukee
A Harrisburg woman is facing charges of sexual assault after using the internet to lure a 12 year-old girl to a Milwaukee motel room.
According to officials with the Milwaukee Police Department, 23 year-old Renia Chester was taken into custody following a sexual assault Sunday evening. Chester is being held in the Milwaukee County Prison pending her extradition to Pennsylvania, police say.
Officials say Chester arranged to meet a 12 year-old girl at a New Cumberland motel and engaged in various sex acts in the motel room. She is facing charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, illegal contact with a minor, and criminal use of a communications facility.
The girl told police that “sexual things” happened at Chester’s home several times before the two met at the motel. She said she had known Chester for about a month.
Authorities say the girl’s mother learned of the incidents and reported them to police.
