Bank Robbery in Milwaukee

Investigators with the Milwaukee Police Department are searching for someone who stole money from a bank in the city.

According to officials, someone took an undisclosed amount of money Friday from TCF Bank on the corner of South 76th STreet and West Cold Spring Road. Police say the suspect gave a note to one of the tellers at the bank. He then threatened the tellers and said he had a gun with him, though no victims or witnesses saw a gun.

The man then went into a residential area west of the bank, and, police say, he may have entered a tan-colored four-door vehicle. Police describe the suspect as a black man with dreadlocks two to three inches long. He is in his late 20’s or early 30’s, 6′ to 6′ 2” tall, with a slender build, medium complexion with a mustache and short goatee. The suspect had a hat with the letter P on it and was wearing a long-sleeve gray shirt.

Investigators say the suspect has committed multiple bank robberies in Milwaukee County.
