Former Contract Killer Charged with Identity Theft in Milwaukee

A fugitive contract killer has been charged in Milwaukee with federal identity theft charges.

According to officials with the United States Secret Service, 35 year-old Kurtis Arman was arrested at a Brookfield hotel with computers, cameras, a magnetic card reader, a machine for making and encoding laminated ID cards, driver’s licenses from Virginia and Ohio, and Army Reserves ID card, and Social Security cards.

Court records also indicate Armann had rented a storage unit in Milwaukee, where investigators found a minivan that had been stolen from Florida. Surveillance video showed him parking the van in the unit in October.

Armann has been charged with identity theft as well as violating the terms of his parole. He is due in court on September 7.
