Federal Drug Gang Investigation Arrests 21 in Milwaukee

The 21 individuals were arrested in
Milwaukee from January 19 to 21 and include a 40-year-old man who
police believe is the leader of the Mexican Posse gang in Milwaukee.

The arrests are part of a nationwide
investigation called “Project Big Freeze,” led by the U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The investigation is an
attempt to crack down on gangs that have suspected ties to drug
trafficking organizations. So far, law enforcement officials have
arrested 476 people around the country in 83 cities.
