Wisconsin Crime Rates Drop

by Administrator 18. September 2009 02:00

According to a report,  the crime rates in Wisconsin dropped. The report,  released by the Office of Justice Assistance indicated that the rate of murders, rapes, and assaults were down nearly 5% for the year.

Further,  murders in the state were down nearly 20% from where they were a year ago.

Many individuals praise increased community efforts at crime prevention as one of the factors that have helped lead to a decrease in criminal activity.  Many police agencies have stated that their increased enforcement efforts were also a factor in the drop in crime rates.
