According to a study conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, almost 1 in every 50 adults involved in an anonymous telephone survey admitted to drunk driving at least one time in the previous month. The survey polled around 210,000 adults in 2010. The results of the survey led CDC officials to estimate that there were more than 112 occurrences of drunk driving in the U.S. in 2010. Research showed that men between the ages of 21-years old and 34-years old were the most likely to drink and drive. This demographic accounted for 32 percent of drunk driving occurrences.
