Shoplifting Increases with Poor Performing Economy

by Administrator 13. November 2009 07:09

The number of shoplifting arrests and cases has increased within the last year.  One of the main drivers for this increase in criminal activity has been the poor performing economy. Many individuals are unable to afford many of the items that they need and some of these individuals have attempted to steal the item.

Many individuals accused of shoplifting are wrongly accused.  Some individuals simply made a mistake or forgot to pay.  If shoplifting charges are brought against you,  they could cause serious long-term problems for the individual. Proper representation will be important in protecting one's self.

If you or someone you know is facing criminal charges, contact the Milwaukee criminal defense attorneys of Kohler & Hart, LLP at 888-565-7597.
