A Milwaukee man was arrested in Fond du Lac County Monday for an alleged fifth offense of drunken driving. According to officials with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department, deputies received a report of an erratic driver traveling south on Highway 41 entering Fond du Lac County shortly after 11:37 a.m. Sunday. A Wisconsin State Patrol press release says a trooper stopped the vehicle on Highway 23 east of Highway 41 because the car had a cracked windshield. The 39 year-old driver was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and is expected to be charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police say. The passenger, a 63 year-old Menominee Falls man, was cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle. Both men were cited for not wearing seat belts.
