Major Mexican Drug Leader Captured

by Administrator 27. October 2008 07:10
Tijuana, Mexico--A major Mexican drug lord has been arrested in the United States-Mexico border town of Tijuana. The leader, Eduardo Arellano Felix, had a $5 million bounty placed on his head by the United States for his capture. Felix has been involved in the drug wars ravaging Mexico, as various gangs compete for influence and markets. Felix is part of a drug trafficking family. He and his several siblings were all part of the family business. Of the siblings involved, now only his sister has not been captured. To fight the escalating drug violence around the border region, the president of Mexico, Felipe Calderon, has sent tens of thousands of troops, but the capture of Felix was one of the few that has occurred. Drug trafficking is a serious crime anywhere in the world. If you or someone you know has been accused or charged with drug trafficking or drug smuggling, contact the Milwaukee criminal lawyers of Kohler and Hart by visiting their website or by calling 1-888-565-7597.
