Charges Possible for Security Guard

by Administrator 5. June 2009 04:55

A security guard who shot and killed one robber, and shot and injured another, may face possible charges.

The man  shot two individuals as they attempted to rob a store which he was working for.

Police did not arrest the guard after the incident,  but the man must meet with the District Attorney.  The ultimate decision if charges will be pressed is up to the District Attorney.  Charges could still be possible even if the man acted in self-defense.

The guard has no past criminal record, carried the gun legally, and has fully cooperated with authorities after the shooting.
