Milwaukee police, sheriffs, and park workers have begun increasing the number of patrols at Grant Park.  The increased enforcement comes after a year of increased criminal activity in the park.  The park has had several separate incidents of damage or vandalism that has cost over $10,000 by most estimates.

Park workers and city officials have stated that the increased patrol has helped reduce recent incidents, and have seen the new efforts as successful. The efforts are set to continue until criminal activity in the park does not become such a problem anymore.
