A 26 year-old man believed to have held up a Kiel gas station with an airsoft gun was arrested earlier this week in his apartment.
Police say a man wearing a bandana over his face held up the Kiel Ultimart Mobil with a semi-automatic handgun and threatened the attendant. He took cash from the register before escaping on foot. No one was injured.
Thursday night police obtained a search warrant of the suspect's apartment and found an airsoft gun that matched witness descriptions of the gun and cash. He has been charged with armed robbery with a dangerous weapon, a felony.
