Two people were arrested for drunken driving with children in the vehicle in Milwaukee over the weekend. According to officials with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s office, a 28 year-old Milwaukee man was arrested shortly before 4:00 a.m. Saturday for drunken driving with children aged 6, 9, and 11 in the vehicle. The man has a 2008 conviction for drunken driving. The second arrest occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. Saturday. According to the arrest report, a 36 year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested after witnesses saw her staggering while getting out of her car in a parking lot. She was driving with her 8 year-old daughter. Child Protective Services were called to the scene and the child was turned over to the custody of a relative.
