Milwaukee police officer charged with sex crime

by Administrator 5. October 2011 07:30
A former Milwaukee police officer has been charged with rape. The fired police officer is suspected of raping a woman after responding to her 9-1-1 while he was still employed as a police officer in Milwaukee. The former police officer faces charges of rape "while acting under the color of law" and using a firearm in an act of violence. Both federal felony charges place the man at risk of serving life in prison. The officer initially denied that he had sex with the woman who called 9-1-1 about juveniles trying to kick down the door of her home. However, records show that the former officer later told investigators with internal affairs that he had sex on duty.
