Bail Increased for 17-Year-Old Facing Felony Charges

A judge raised the bail to $100,000 for a Milwaukee teenager suspected in seven felonies, including a triple shooting, two armed robberies, and three carjackings. Avan Kittler was previously released on June 14 on $10,000 bail, sparking concerns and public debates. After obtaining a search warrant based on an incriminating Facebook video, Kittler was arrested again on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a weapon on June 17. His bail was amended to $100,000 on June 22.

Evidence on Kittler’s Facebook chats suggests he had been buying and selling drugs, stolen cars, and weapons as far back as May 2015. Matthew Lawrence Long, 22, was also charged in the cases. His bail was set at $201,000 and he has not been released.
