Milwaukee mother and daughter charged with abusing a child for assault on Burger King cashier
A Milwaukee woman and her daughter are facing charges of physically abusing a child and being party to a crime. The charges come after an incident in which the two are accused of assaulting a 16-year-old cashier at a Burger King restaurant after being told that they could not use 12 coupons for one meal.
The two accused women are currently facing six years of imprisonment and $10,000 in fines if they are convicted on these charges.
According to police reports, the mother was ordering a meal at a Burger King and was trying to use 12 coupons to pay for the food but the cashier refused to accept all 12 coupons. The mother became angry and went home to pick up her daughter, who then proceeded to assault the Burger King employee. The employee suffered a swollen eye and a headache from the assault.
