The 21 individuals were arrested in Milwaukee from January 19 to 21 and include a 40-year-old man who police believe is the leader of the Mexican Posse gang in Milwaukee.

 The arrests are part of a nationwide investigation called “Project Big Freeze,” led by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The investigation is an attempt to crack down on gangs that have suspected ties to drug trafficking organizations. So far, law enforcement officials have arrested 476 people around the country in 83 cities.

A man has recently been arrested for assault following a confrontation that occurred at a bar.  The man and another man began to argue with each other.  The individual who was arrested was reported as the individual to initiate the fight and the physical confrontation.

Staff at the bar were able to assist police officers in pointing out who initiated the fight. The man was arrested shortly after police arrived.  Authorities have stated that alcohol was  a major factor in the incident.

A man has recently been arrested in a Milwaukee store after he was caught shoplifting.  A report indicates that staff at the store became suspicious of the individual after he was in the bathroom for a long time and walked out with a bag that he did not have when he went into the bathroom. 

The man apparently had taken a bag into the bathroom, and then used that to conceal items which he had placed in his coat.  The man was stopped before exiting the store and employees asked to look through his belongings.

Two individuals were recently arrested over the weekend for assault charges.  The two men were arrested outside of a popular night club in downtown Milwaukee.  The charges came after the two men reportedly started a brawl inside the night club.  According to reports,  one of the individuals utilized a beer bottle to attack one of the other individuals.  Night club bouncers were able to initially detain the individuals before police arrived on the scene and arrested the two.

Currently it is not known what caused the altercation although it is believed that alcohol is a major factor in the fight.
