Robberies May Be Linked to One Man

by Administrator 27. March 2009 06:06

Four armed robberies have occurred in the last two weeks. South Milwaukee Police are now suspecting that the four armed robberies were committed by the same person.

The man is believed to be responsible for robbing a Dairy Queen on March 12th and 18th.  As well as a Subway on March 16th.

Police are actively working to find the suspected man.  They are describing him as a white, 18 to 24 year-old male that is about 6' feet tall and has a slim build.  In the robberies he covered his face with a bandana and a hood.  Police are hoping that someone may be able to provide them the information to catch him.

Milwaukee Bus Stop Murder

by Administrator 11. March 2009 04:29

An incident that left one victim dead has been deemed random.  Police were initially hoping that the murder of an individual waiting at a bus stop was between two people who knew each other.  The reports now indicate that the shooting was random and the victim and the shooter did not know each other.

The investigation believes that some sort of verbal altercation broke out at the bus stop between the victim and shooter. Something was said, and the victim was then shot in the head.  The shooter then got on a bus to try and flee the scene.  Police stopped the bus several blocks away and found the man that they believed was responsible.

The investigation is underway to determine what sparked the shooting.  Charges are likely to soon to be filed against the man who was stopped on the bus.
