On July 19th, an 18 year old girl was found strangled to death in the east Milwaukee apartment shared by her and her boyfriend. She had been strangled in the the night by her boyfriend after they went to bed.

In court, the defendant asked the court to give him the maximum sentence for his crime. The judge obliged by sentencing him to 40 years in prison and 20 years of supervision afterward.

This was a strange case in that the defendant asked for a higher penalty. If you or someone you know is facing criminal charges, contact the Milwaukee criminal defense attorneys of Kohler & Hart, LLP at 888-565-7597.
