Drunk Driving Father is Convicted for Killing Son

by Administrator 17. June 2008 08:06

Just south of Milwaukee, WI, John Ibeme was convicted for the crash that killed his son. At the time of the incident Ibeme had been drinking and crossed the median and hit another SUV head on. When police arrived on the scene, they administered a breathalyzer test which showed that his BAC level was a .144. At that level, he was almost double the legal limit of intoxication in the state of Wisconsin. Ibeme killed his son and injured his two other small children in the crash.

After a year long trial period, the court finally ruled that Ibeme was guilty and gave him sentence for the DUI and Manslaughter. Because of the death of his son, he was sentenced to an extended 7 year sentence. Two of the seven years will be considered probationary years if he has had good behavior in jail.

Wrongly Accused Massachusetts Man Seeks Apology

by Administrator 17. June 2008 07:06

Michael Fiola a Massachusetts state employee seeks an apology from the Department of Industrial Accidents (his former employer) after he was wrongfully charged with storing internet child pornography on his computer.  Timothy Bradl, he attorney on the case, stated that “They destroyed [Fiola’s] life.”  After a forensics analysis of mister Fiola’s computer, authorities determined that the 53-year old was just a visit of a rather sneaky computer virus.

Mister Fiola has decided to appeal his termination even though he does not want his job back.  Fiola was fired last year from his job after large amounts of porn was found on his laptop.  He was unaware that the computer was downloading images into an internal file for several months.

This is a prime example of an unfortunate situation gone wrong.  If you or someone you know needs help with from a criminal attorney, contact Kohler & Hart by calling 888-565-7597.
